Meet our driver, and then drive through Moolgarh and Lambgoan to Badasu (Phata)Guptkashi. The lovely river Mandakini may be seen in Tilwara while travelling. To get to Guptkashi, follow the Mandakini river as you travel from Kedarnath. Once at Guptkashi, check into a hotel. A night spent at Phata.
Guptakashi:- The meaning of Gupt Kashi is "Hidden Benares." According to myth, Shivji initially hid himself in Guptkashi when the Pandava brothers tried to catch a glimpse of him.
After breakfast, drive to Sonparyag and begin your trek to Kedarnath (at your own expense, by Pony / Doli / Helicopter). Pay a visit to the Kedarnath Temple. Stay for the night. (On Your Own) No Capability Our Organization
Kedarnath: The Kedarnath shrine, one of Lord Shiva's 12 jyotirlingas, is a scenic spot set against the majestic Kedarnath range. Lord Shiva is also known as Kedar. According to legend, after defeating the Kaurava in the Kurukshetra war, the Pandavas felt guilty for killing their own brothers and sought Lord Shiva's forgiveness. He eluded them several times before fleeing to Kedarnath in the form of a bull. When he realised he was being followed, he dove into the ground, leaving his hump behind.
Trek down to Sonprayag in the morning after temple Darshan. Drive to Badasu Guptkashi later. Stay the night in Phata.
Badrinath, one of the 'Ancient Four Dhams,' is one of the country's most celebrated pilgrimage sites, located at an elevation of 3,133 metres and guarded on either side by the two mountain ranges known as Nar and Narayan, with the towering Neelkanth Peak providing a magnificent backdrop. This sacred location was once carpeted in wild berries. Thus the place got the name "Badri van", meaning "forest of berries".
Tapt Kund: Natural thermal springs on the Alaknanda riverbank, where bathing is customary before entering the Badrinath temple.
Drive to Badrinath in the morning after breakfast. When you arrive in Badrinath, check into your hotel. Pilgrims have Darshan of Badrivishal and Aarti in the evening after bathing in the Taptkund. Brahamakapal is significant for ancestor Pinddan Shraddh (Pitrus). Other interesting tourist attractions include Mana, Vyas Gufa, Maatamoorti, Charanpaduka, Bhimkund, and the "Mukh" of the Saraswati River. Badrinathjee is only three kilometres away. Stay the night in Badrinath.
After breakfast, drive to Rudraprayag via Joshimath. After 1 p.m., check into the hotel in Rudraprayag. Stay the night in Rudraprayag.
